New Zealand Christmas Cutoff dates - 30th Nov 2025

New Zealand Christmas Cutoff dates For your best shot, get your orders in Friday 19th December or before.

If you are on the wrong side of this date, then Monday 22nd is your last chance — if you are in the NORTH ISLAND, we have a more expensive overnight courier option (starting at $15), which we are advised will arrive in time for Christmas if we are able to send your package on Monday 22nd. If you are in the SOUTH ISLAND, the regular shipping (starting at $8.50) should still get you in time.

If you are placing an order on the 22nd and you want it to arrive for Christmas, let us know in the "COMMENTS" field — we'll do everything we can to get it packed up in time, but our courier picks our packages up in the afternoon, so if you're placing your order in the afternoon that might be too late; also, don't select "BANK TRANSFER" as the payment method — we can only send when the payment clears, so depending on your bank, that might be too slow.

Other things: if you are a RURAL DELIVERY or a PO BOX or an OFFSHORE ISLAND (eg Great Barrier Island, Stuart Island, Waiheke Island (don't pretend it's "Auckland Central", we know your postcodes buddy)), we are advised that your cut off date is Thursday 18th — but with rural delivery, who knows: you are strongly advised to get your order in well before that, OR to select an alternative "non rural" address

As ever, the above are targets that we have been advised of — not ironclad guarantees...

USA CUSTOMERS READ ME! (updated) - 22nd Aug 2025

USA CUSTOMERS READ ME! (updated) TRUMP TARIFFS: New Zealand Post (NZP) has resumed sending to the USA, hooray. However, your books will be a little more expensive, as we shall be passing on the cost of both the tariffs and costs associated with paying said tariffs onto you, the customer (SAD!). But the good news is, once you have paid for your book/s and shipping, you will NOT have to pay any extra duties or fees to receive your package (unlike the situation recently, when we did not have a DDP ("delivery duties paid") service available)

Random note: if you are in ALASKA or HAWAI'I, we have no idea why, but it costs an extra NZ$25 PER BOOK in some circumstances to send a package to you! If you have an alternative address in another US state, that is your best bet.
