Advanced Search

Advanced search has different ways of narrowing your results. Here are some examples of what you can do:

• Search for exact phrases:

  "dracula's guest"

• Exclude a term:

  bronte -emily

• Use a wildcard (ie. garden, gardens, gardener, gardening...):

  "new zealand" garden*

• Increase the ranking on a particular term:

  apple >computers

• Decrease the ranking on a particular term:

  british navy <military

• Group terms and apply a single operator across them:

  horror -(vampire mummy zombie)
