Bad weather interruptions
High winds and large swells are currently forecast for the Cook Strait. As a result, the Interislander have cancelled sailings for 24 hours from 3.30am Tuesday the 4th of August.
At this stage they will plan to return to normal service on Wednesday the 5th but this will be weather dependent.
We will do our utmost to keep you informed with any developing information but please be aware that this will impact on our ability to maintain normal services. Delays are to be expected this week and possibly into next week.
Please also be aware that there is another wintery blast forecast to be heading up the country over the next few days which may also impact our service.
We're very sorry for this and we appreciate your patience during this stormy season.
