INCLUDES UNCOMMON 'SUSPENSE' AND 'TALES OF HEARSAY', missing 'Typhoon' and 'Youth' volumes, octavo, deckled page fore-edges, illus to eps & title pages, mixed pagination, illus, VG (most vols have varying degrees of fading to spines- mostly light to moderate, light to moderate bruising & rubbing to extrems, mostly light to moderate chafing & soiling to boards- occasional vol has more soiling than others, prev. owner's sm white adhesive label to front board of 'The Arrow of Gold' vol, moderate damp wrinkling to boards of 4x vols, binding is a little sloppy to 'The Mirror of the Sea', moderate tanning & light foxing/soiling to page edges, occasional sl soiling to eps, occasional minor foxing to pages, prev. owner's name in pencil to 'Almayer's Folly', gutters are mostly in good condition with only a few minor cracks- light, occasional minor water staining to page edges)
