First edition of this scarce book, in original red cloth with gilt titles and decoration, rather poorly reinforced at hinges with a heavy fabric tape. Tall 8vo, 309pp, numerous illustrations, frontis. Missing but rest of plates present. VG- (mid section loosening a little, cloth rubbed and scuffed at extremities with sl.fraying at head, corners also bruised and scuffed, owners sign at top of contents page and removed from top of title. Internally very clean)
