This volume only, front board & prelims detached from rest of book, folio, brown leather boards with gilt decorative rule to front board, gilt lettering in red & green decorative leather panels between raised bands to spine, a.e.g, marbled eps, gilt decorative edging to front & rear pastedowns & eps, double-page frontispiece, 99pp + aprox 60 original lithograph illus, VG- (front board & prelims detached, heavy damage with loss of leather to aprox half of spine, bruising & rubbing to board edges & corners with loss of leather, some staining, chaffing & scratching to boards, complete horizontal tear to front ep repaired with tape, foxing & browning) some foxing and staining mostly evident to rear of plates but some showing through
