NZ Christmas Cut Off Dates
Place your orders BEFORE these dates to have the best shot at getting books for Christmas — the below are targets, so no 100% guarantee, but you should be good. If you are cutting it close, give us a call to confirm we can get your books out in time (call, rather than email). Also, more instantaneous methods of payment are safest (ie. credit card/PayPal instead of bank transfers, as these may take a little while to clear, depending on your bank!)
NORTH ISLAND
"Standard" addresses = Tuesday 17th December
Rural addresses = Thursday 19th December
PO Boxes & Offshore Islands (eg. Waiheke Island, etc) = Tuesday 17th December
The above is for standard economy shipping. There is also a more expensive ($15+ depending on size of package) COURIER option. COURIER packages are expected to arrive before Christmas 2024 IF orders are placed BEFORE Friday 20th December. Leave a note in the comments field if you require this option!
SOUTH ISLAND
"Standard" addresses = Friday 20th December
Rural addresses = Wednesday 18th December
PO Boxes & Offshore Islands (eg. Stewart Island, etc) = Tuesday 17th December
Finally, if you are ordering vouchers as a gift, it's a little bit unclear when you can expect these — sorry! Vouchers can only be redeemed in person at our Auckland or Dunedin shops, so if you can, come in and buy these in person. If you require them to be sent outside of Auckland or Dunedin, we'll get them in the post same day as you order them, so fingers crossed! (NZPost is a bit screwy with delivery times on these...)
