House of Leaves - RAREST COPY
DANIELEWSKI, MARK
First edition Black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and gilt initals "Z" (for Zampano) and "JT" (for Johnny Truant) on front board xxiii + 709pp FINE in FINE d/w in FINE black clamshell box with ribbons (as issued) THIS COPY IS ONE OF ONLY FIVE ISSUED THUS, signed by Danielewski with both " JT" (in red) and "Z" (in blue) and numbered 4/5. Danielewski has one of the five, the publisher has another and the other two were sold many years ago. FURTHERMORE this is the rarest and most UNIQUE COPY of House of Leaves in existence because IT IS LARGER ON THE INSIDE THAN IT IS ON THE OUTSIDE. During the signing process the author discovered that the introduction page has accidentally folded over on one corner during the production stage and can be folded out beyond the parameters of the book design. He has duly annotated the "overhang" with "1/4 inch extra" in red, black and blue and signed the verso of the 'overhang" PLH (also in red, black and blue). The most extraordinary copy of this extraordinary book
